Job summary

Tung Wah Group is seeking a contract-based Facilities Management professional to coordinate and monitor maintenance services for all premises. The role requires handling repair requests, planning maintenance, and supervising contractors to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Higher Certificate in relevant engineering fields (or a Certificate) with several years of experience in major facilities management and electrical/mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Certificate in Facilities Management/Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering plus 4 years of relevant experience in major facilities management, building services engineering works and electrical & mechanical maintenance works.
• Certificate in Facilities Management / Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering plus 6 years of relevant experience in major facilities management, building services engineering works and electrical & mechanical maintenance works.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor facilities and maintenance services for all premises.
• Respond to repair requests and understand store conditions for maintenance planning.
• Assist in all procedures for maintenance projects.
• Monitor performance of contractors to ensure deliveries.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

• respond to repair requests, understand store conditions for maintenance planning;
• assist in all procedures for maintenance projects;
• monitor performance of contractors to ensure their deliveries; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• (a) Diploma/Higher Certificate in Facilities Management/Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute plus 4 years of relevant experience in major facilities management, building services engineering works and electrical & mechanical maintenance works; or
  (b) Certificate in Facilities Management / Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute plus 6 years of relevant experience in major facilities management, building services engineering works and electrical & mechanical maintenance works.

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $28,790 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 11). The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
