Howden, a leading global insurance intermediary, is recruiting for a Hong Kong-based claims role. You will provide day-to-day claims support under supervision, delivering high-quality service to clients and liaising with insurers and service providers to manage claims across all classes of General Insurance.

• Provide ad hoc advice and support to other staff regarding technical claims issues
• Maintain and update claims data in the claims system and generate reports
• Coordinate onboarding and management of client claims portfolios to reflect best interest of clients
• Undertake other client-related tasks as needed.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provision of day-to-day claims function under supervision of managers

1. PROVISION OF CLIENT SERVICE

1.1 Provide the highest quality claims advice, handling and guidance to Howden's clients, including:

Providing professional advice to clients for facilitating the claims process

Answer claims inquiries and providing high quality service to our clients

1.2 Day-to-day provision of the Hong Kong claims function, including:

Handle all classes of General Insurance claims

Liaise/communicate/negotiate with insurers/representatives and other service providers

Provide claims related information to Account Management Team

Supervise/maintain claims data in claims system

Prepare claims reports and statistics

Ad-hoc projects assigned

1.3 Implement account on-boarding and management of client's claims portfolio to represent the best possible risk on behalf of clients

1.4 Undertake any other client-related tasks &/or functions as from time-to-time may be necessary.

1. PROVISION OF TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL CLAIMS EXPERTISE

2.1 Provide ad hoc advice and support to other members of staff regarding technical claims issues.

1. ADMINISTRATION & TRAINING

3.1 Maintain the full & proper maintenance of all files, computer records and any other company records and systems relevant to this job specification, in accordance with the direction of the Company.
