Job summary

Pinpoint Asia in Hong Kong is seeking a technical lead and operational owner for the Global Securities Services platform. The role reports to senior management and drives end-to-end implementation, updates, and resilience across custody, asset servicing, fund accounting, settlement, valuation, and reporting modules.

You will establish multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with ISO 20022, SWIFT, and FIX standards, direct third-party vendors, and mentor an engineering team specialized in core

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT leadership, with 3+ years supporting Custody, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing systems.
• Solid domain understanding of trade lifecycles, NAV calculations, corporate actions and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL skills to diagnose data issues; hands-on with Python, C#, or Java.
• Experience with messaging protocols (SWIFT, FIX, ISO 20022) and securities identifiers (ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL).
• Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements is a plus.

The Role & Landscape

Reporting to the senior management team, you will serve as the technical lead and operational owner for the Global Securities Services platform.

• Lead end-to-end implementation, support, and updates across custody, asset servicing, fund accounting, settlement, valuation, and reporting modules.
• Establish multi-year technology roadmaps that align target architecture with system resilience and messaging standards (including ISO 20022, SWIFT, and FIX).
• Direct third-party vendors and software providers to ensure system availability, quality release planning, and SLAs.
• Collaborate directly with internal operations leaders to address data reconciliation, break analysis, and fee calculation workflows.
• Guide and mentor an engineering team specializing in core securities infrastructure and integration frameworks.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 6 years in IT leadership, with a minimum of 3 years spent directly supporting Custody, Fund Administration, or Asset Servicing systems.
• Solid domain understanding of trade lifecycles, NAV calculation methods, corporate action events, and operational reconciliation.
• Direct technical skills in SQL (writing complex queries to diagnose data breaks) alongside hands-on familiarity with Python, C#, or Java.
• Experience with messaging protocols (SWIFT, FIX, ISO 20022) and securities identifiers (ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL).
• Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements is beneficial.
• Fluent command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
