Job summary

Eames Consulting partners with a leading financial services institution to champion engineering strategy and architecture for post-trade platforms in Hong Kong. You will bridge hands-on design with high-level technology direction, delivering scalable, modular, cloud-ready systems.

You will drive modernisation, adopt emerging technologies like DLT and AI, and mentor high-performing teams, while aligning with enterprise security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and IT leadership delivering high-throughput, enterprise-scale platforms.
• Experience in post-trade processing, custody, asset servicing, clearing, settlement, or SWIFT/market connectivity protocols.
• Strong expertise in distributed architectures and high-availability transaction processing.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture and software engineering roadmap for enterprise-scale transaction and settlement platforms.
• Champion enterprise-wide DevOps, CI/CD, and QA automation practices to optimise SDLC standards.
• Guide architectural modernisation initiatives, migrating from legacy systems to modular, cloud-ready designs.
• Scale and mentor in-house development teams while managing vendor delivery relationships.
• Drive technical innovation through Distributed ledger technology (DLT), AI, and zero-trust security frameworks.
