Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an experienced Events Manager to own regional incentive trips, executive events, and corporate programs across multiple markets. You will lead end-to-end event management from concept through execution, coordinating with regional and local teams to ensure flawless delivery.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, budget control, and hands-on travel planning, with regional travel and occasional hours beyond the standard schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate events, incentive travel, conferences, hospitality, destination management or agency environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex events and travel programs independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing event budgets, suppliers, and contracts.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable with regional travel and occasional work outside standard office hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end regional incentive trips, meetings, and corporate events from concept through execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, event communications, run sheets, and operational documentation.
  • Manage travel arrangements, guest logistics, accommodation, activities, and event functions.
  • Serve as liaison between regional and local teams for clear communication throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Coordinate stakeholder requirements and provide timely project updates.
  • Manage expectations and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, production agencies, and other suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and ensure delivery against objectives.
  • Manage budgets, expense tracking, invoice processing, and reporting.
  • Lead on-site operations and oversee event delivery from arrival to departure.
  • Coordinate setup, rehearsals, guest management, transfers, and logistics.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to ensure positive attendee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement guidelines, financial controls, and data privacy requirements.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and contribute recommendations for continuous improvement.
