Societe Generale in Hong Kong seeks an Electronic Sales Trader/Algo Trading specialist to join its ETD Algo franchise. This role blends quantitative research, electronic execution, and client engagement, owning agency execution algorithms for futures and options.

The candidate will supervise, analyze, and enhance ETD algorithms during APAC trading hours, collaborating with sales-trading, technology, and clients to deliver best-in-class outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in finance, quantitative fields, or engineering.
• Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of market microstructure.
• Experience with listed derivatives or electronic trading is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the day-to-day operation and supervision of the ETD execution algorithm platform.
• Conduct rigorous execution performance analysis using tick-level data and TCA.
• Define functional specifications and contribute to quantitative logic for new features and parameters.
• Collaborate with sales-trading, technology, and clients to optimize execution strategies.
• Maintain awareness of market structure changes and regulatory expectations.
