Job summary

China Beijing Branch in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Research professional to develop sector expertise, conduct fundamental equity analysis, and translate intelligence into actionable insights. The role collaborates with institutional sales and elevates thought leadership.

You will leverage AI/GenAI tools to boost productivity, engage senior investors, and publish coverage on new companies. Fluent English and Mandarin are required; CFA/CPA are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in finance-related or relevant subjects.
• 6–10 years of relevant working experience in equity or financial research or upstream tech industry.
• Experience in Upstream Tech/Semiconductor industry with strong background in industry trends.
• Curious, commercially minded, and able to challenge assumptions and explore second-order effects.
• Strong listening and communication skills, able to engage senior investors and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop sector expertise through engagement with institutional investors, corporate management, and industry experts.
• Conduct fundamental equity analysis with financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
• Translate intelligence into actionable investment insights.
• Collaborate with institutional sales to support client engagement.
• Contribute to thought leadership, sector notes, and client discussions.
