Job summary

Invesco Hong Kong Limited seeks a senior research professional to conduct Hong Kong and China equity research, leveraging AI-enabled workflows to extract data, test hypotheses, and deliver actionable insights to portfolio managers.

You will work with investment directors to develop robust valuation models, monitor risk, and present evidence-based views in weekly and quarterly meetings. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

University degree or higher in economics, finance, data science or related fields.
CFA qualification is required.
Minimum 8 years buy/sell-side research experience.
Deep knowledge of Hong Kong and China equity markets.

Responsibilities

Lead HK and China equity research with differentiated theses and a forward-looking agenda.
Apply AI-assisted extraction and anomaly detection while verifying sources and conclusions.
Support Investment Directors with robust financial models, risk monitoring, and timely updates.
Identify macro, industry, and company trends; build scenarios and assess earnings and catalysts.
Conduct primary research through meetings, site visits, and industry engagement.
Present concise, evidence-based views at team and investment meetings.
