Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Solid understanding of derivatives products, trading practices, and electronic trading platforms.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives market operations, exchange rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within financial markets, exchange operations, derivatives trading, brokerage, clearing, or related functions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the derivatives market by monitoring trading activities, managing operational risks, supporting market participants, and handling exceptional or contingency situations.
• Monitor and ensure trading activities comply with relevant regulations, exchange rules, and operational procedures.
• Deliver high-quality service and support to market participants while maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Act as a central point of communication for market operations, ensuring timely and accurate coordination with participants and external stakeholders.
• Participate in and lead strategic initiatives, including system enhancements, market structure improvements, new product launches, and policy reviews.
• Drive process improvement and automation projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Develop, review, and enhance operational procedures, controls, and business continuity frameworks.
• Stay informed of global developments and emerging trends in derivatives markets and trading practices.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within financial markets, exchange operations, derivatives trading, brokerage, clearing, or related functions.
• Candidates with strong potential and relevant exposure but fewer years of experience will also be considered.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, VBA, or other data analytics tools is a plus.
• Experience working in a shift-based operational environment is preferred.
