You will join a top-tier Equity Derivatives (EQD) trading desk composed of highly skilled quantitative and market-making professionals. The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and backed by robust infrastructure and middle-office resources.
Execute and manage trading portfolios across global equity derivatives (EQD), focusing on volatility trading and structured products.
Price, risk-manage, and trade Fixed Coupon Notes (FCNs) and other exotic or flow derivative instruments.
Formulate and implement effective volatility trading strategies to maximize desk profitability while managing downside risks.
Monitor global market developments, macro trends, and volatility surfaces to identify tactical trading opportunities.
Collaborate closely with structuring, quantitative research, sales, and risk management teams to drive product innovation.
Ensure all trading activities strictly comply with internal risk limits, regulatory mandates, and market conduct standards.
Degree holder or above in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in equity derivatives trading within an investment bank or securities firm, suitable for Associate to Vice President level.
Proven background in global EQD markets, with specific expertise in volatility trading and FCN (Fixed Coupon Notes) structures.
Deep knowledge of option pricing models, Greeks, volatility arbitrage, and risk-management frameworks.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and coding skills (e.g., Python, C++, or VBA) for pricing and risk analysis.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
