Job summary

Bloomberg APAC Enterprise Data Implementation Team is seeking a seasoned professional to deploy Bloomberg real-time and reference data products for Enterprise clients in Hong Kong. You will manage end-to-end implementation, coordinating with Technical Account Management, Solution Engineering, and Contents Specialists to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong client-facing skills, project leadership, and the ability to work across multiple internal groups to achieve top-tier service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience in financial markets, fintech or data-related companies.
• Experience implementing or supporting financial data solutions (market data, real-time data, reference or regulatory data) within the last 3 years.
• Client-facing experience servicing enterprise-level clients in financial services.
• Business fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese for regional client interactions.
• Technical understanding of enterprise data solutions and their delivery methods (APIs, Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical implementation process with detailed technical plans.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive timelines and ensure smooth implementations.
• Own your book of implementation projects and maintain client satisfaction throughout the cycle.
• Produce implementation documentation and post-implementation reviews.
• Participate in new product roll-outs and ongoing client support.

What's the Role?

As a key member of our APAC Enterprise Data implementation Team, you will be responsible for the deployment of the entire suite of our real-time and reference Enterprise Data products. Collaborating with colleagues from the Technical Account Management, Solution Engineering and Contents Specialists, you will be the project owner and trusted go-to person for the client during the product implementation period, involving yourself in a range of duties including pre-sales activities, actual deployment and last but not least post-implementation tasks such as documentation and support handover.

We'll Trust You To

• Complete an analysis of the client's technical environment and understand how their applications will utilise Bloomberg technology and services
• Lead and execute the technical implementation process by creating detailed technical implementation plans
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, driving project timelines and ensuring smooth implementation projects
• Lead and take ownership of your book of implementation projects, ensuring client satisfaction is maintained throughout the implementation cycle
• Be mindful of project risks and client nuances, adjusting course as necessary to still ensure successful and high quality implementation outcomes
• Maintain Bloomberg's approach and standards to high quality implementations and customer satisfaction, constantly being mindful of client needs
• Assist in producing implementation documentation and post implementation reviews
• Execute and lead special projects or new initiatives as required
• Actively participate in new product roll-outs

You'll Need To Have

• Minimum of 5 years working experience for financial markets, financial technology or data related companies
• Experience implementing or supporting financial data solutions such as market data, real-time data, reference or regulatory data solutions, within the past 3 years
• Client facing experience servicing enterprise level clients within the financial services industry
• Business level fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese, as this role will work with our clients across the region
• A technical understanding of various enterprise data solutions and their various methods of delivery (e.g. APIs, Cloud)
• Technical knowledge of financial markets data products
• Awareness and appreciation of software development practices and available tools to support implementation activities
• Ability to demonstrate successful project management skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for project delivery
• Demonstrated continuous career progression within an organisation
• Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications

We’d Love To See

• An understanding of Linux systems, technical networking topologies, network distribution technologies and concepts, network distribution protocols
• Hands on experience of industry leading Market Data enterprise distribution systems and data feeds
• Understanding of concepts of market data compliance rules & regulations
• Technical competencies with, but not limited to Linux, TCP/IP, Python, SQL
• Familiarity with Bloomberg enterprise products
• Prince II or alternative project management qualifications
