Job summary

VCARE Vision Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a junior Electronics Engineer to support hardware development activities, contribute to reliable HW design, and build technical competence through design, validation, and documentation throughout product development.

The role requires reading circuit diagrams, PCB assemblies, and system integration knowledge; candidates should have a degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering and 2+ years' R&D experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years R&D experience in electronic engineering.
• Familiar with safety standards, MCU hardware/software, digital and power electronics.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support the new product design and development process.
• Prepare Schematics and PCB layouts, engineering prototypes and/or testing specifications as per the projects required.
• Support schematic design updates, PCB layout reviews, hardware bring-up, validation, and type approval test preparation and execution.
• Coordinate with the mechanical engineering team throughout the product development and production process.
• Perform lab measurements, collect test data, and document findings with clear and evidence-based content.
• Assist in collecting input, maintaining, and releasing Top Level BOM data.

Main purpose of the job

• Support hardware development activities and complete assigned tasks.
• Contribute to reliable and producible HW design work (components, PCB, PCBA, and product integration) in accordance with requirements, goals, and constraints.
• Build technical competence through active participation in design, validation, documentation and during product development.
• Competency in reading and interpretation of Circuit Diagrams, with respect to PCB assemblies and systems.

Responsibilities/Key tasks

• Support the new product design and development process;
• Prepare Schematics and PCB layouts, engineering prototypes and/or testing specifications as per the projects required;

Requirements

• Degree holder and major in Electronic engineer or Computer Engineering or related engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of solid experience in R & D, 2 - 5 years of relevant working in electronic engineering experience is preferred.
• Familiar with the application of safety standards, MCU hardware and software, digital and power electronics working principium.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
