Job summary
Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for construction projects in Hong Kong. The role covers design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical works across HV/LV systems, transformers, switchboards and power supply solutions.
The candidate will review drawings, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, monitor progress and ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance on major building and infrastructure
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems and electrical installations.
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline projects on-site.
- Experience with review of drawings, specs, shop drawings and method statements.
- HK regulatory familiarity (EMSD) and site safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical works from design coordination through handover.
- Oversee HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchboards, generators, UPS, lighting, earthing.
- Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, utility companies and other building-services disciplines.
- Monitor site progress, quality, safety, subcontractor performance and project programme.
- Resolve technical/interface issues and maintain testing, inspection and handover documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and site teams.
