Canopy seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to own the electronics in our home-wellness devices, from schematic discussions to mass production. You will define electrical requirements, review designs with factories, and drive firmware coordination with suppliers.

You will lead power and charging strategies, motor/sensor tuning, and safety/EMC testing, while maintaining thorough documentation and cross-functional partnerships with our US product team and HK manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on electrical engineering for small consumer electronics with schematic-to-milot production experience.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Strong low-voltage power design: USB-C, adapters, DC/DC, and Li-ion charging/protection.
• Hands-on with fans/motors (BLDC), sensors, capacitive touch, and MCU-based control; write/control firmware specs.
• Schematic/PCB review in Altium, Cadence/OrCAD, PADS; lab skills (oscilloscope, power analyzer, thermal camera).
• Experience taking products through safety/EMC certification (UL/ETL, FCC, IEC).
• Experience with contract manufacturers/ ODMs in S. China; proactive problem-solving.
• Fluent technical English; Mandarin; travel ~50% to Shenzhen/Dongguan.

Responsabilités

• Own electronics from schematic review to mass production and approve parts.
• Own power, charging, protection design for USB-C inputs and battery charging.
• Own motors, sensors, and firmware; draft control specs and review firmware releases.
• Lead EVT/DVT/PVT tests, including thermal, power, ESD, surge, and life tests.
• Collaborate on safety/EMC certifications with labs and partners.
• Maintain schematics, BOMs, test reports, and engineering change records.
• Coordinate with US product team, HK manufacturing, and suppliers.
