ESF Wu Kai Sha International Kindergarten in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong, is seeking an Educational Assistant to support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood experiences for 3-5 year olds.

• Experience working with young children (3-5 years old) in an educational environment.

ESF Wu Kai Sha International Kindergarten is located in Ma On Shan and offers inspiring learning experiences to children aged 3-5 years old. Our inquiry based curriculum encourages children to explore relevant concepts and ideas through child-centred play and exploration, real-life experiences, and focused learning and teaching engagements, allowing children to develop a range of understandings, knowledge and skills in all areas of the curriculum.

We are looking for an Educational Assistant to join our exceptional team of highly qualified and experienced staff who are both nurturing and passionate about Early Childhood education.

The Educational Assistant is an integral part of our teaching team, and works closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality educational experiences and support to our children.

Please note that this position primarily involves working with young children. Some physical activity may be required, including lifting and supporting children during Forest and Beach School sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages participation from all students

Requirements

• Self-motivated, patient, and have a genuine passion for supporting children's educational journeys
• Experience working with young children (3-5 years old) in an educational environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An Early Years/Teaching qualification and Hong Kong Teacher Registration is advantageous
• Applicants must be permanent Hong Kong residents or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
