Job summary

Hong Kong International School is seeking a Secondary Health and Physical Education Teacher for Grade 6-8 to develop and deliver a skills-based program aligned with SHAPE America standards. You will support students' social and emotional needs through the PChG and middle school SEL framework, and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with colleagues, ongoing assessment, and professional practice to uphold HKIS’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area; Masters preferred.
• Qualified Teacher Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching in the subject area.
• Experience in an international school setting and familiarity with American education.
• Experience with EAL students and families preferred.
• Experience with Understanding by Design and Inquiry models.

• Designs instructional and assessment opportunities aligned with learning outcomes.
