Job summary

OncoCare Medical Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Dispenser to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The role involves dispensing, sterile compounding, patient counselling, and supporting pharmacists in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher Diploma in Dispensing Studies or Pharmaceutical Dispensing, with HK licensing in progress, and has 2+ years of hospital dispensing experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in dispensing is required; overseas licensed pharmacists awaiting HK license considered.
• Sterile compounding and oncology experience is a bonus.
• 2+ years of clinical or hospital dispensing experience; senior level for more experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs dispensing, sterile compounding, billing, stock refill, and other duties with Pharmacist supervision.
• Pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines.
• Counsels patients on dosage, precautions and possible side effects.
• Handle cash transactions and payment collection.
• Coordinate patient bookings and hospital admissions.
• Respond to patient enquiries and complaints; assist with ad hoc tasks.

Job description

To allow us to continue to deliver exceptional and safe service to our patients, a position is now available for an experienced Dispenser to join our team. This is a permanent full time opportunity to join our successful and growing organisation.

Responsibilities:

Performs dispensing, sterile compounding, billing, stock refill, and other assigned duties related to pharmacy service provision by working closely with Pharmacist

Pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines

Conduct patient counselling by explaining dosage, precautions and side effects of medicine to patients;

Assist in handling cash transactions and payment collection

Coordinate patients bookings and hospital admissions

Handle patients enquiries and complaints

Assist in any ad-hoc assignment whenever necessary

Qualifications:

Higher Diploma in Dispensing Studies or Pharmaceutical Dispensing or overseas registered pharmacists awaiting HK license

Sterile compounding and oncology experience is not a must but definitely is a bonus

2+ years of clinical or hospital dispensing experience, candidate with more experience can be considered as Senior Dispenser

Good command of spoken English and Chinese

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Proactive, customer-oriented and a good team player
