Macquarie Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced regulatory specialist to support the Asia reporting regimes uplift for derivatives. You will work with a small global team to apply and evolve reporting rules for Singapore, Hong Kong and China across activities and businesses.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive regulatory change across global teams, contributing to a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience interpreting and applying derivatives regulations.
• Experience in commodities and/or exchange traded derivatives (futures) is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work with global teams to apply regulations to business activities.
• Understanding derivatives documentation and contract terms is advantageous.
• Track record driving regulatory-related change across global businesses.
• Innovative, collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn global reporting rulesets.
