CCD / Cheng Chung Design is seeking a Director of Interior Design in Hong Kong to lead luxury hotel and high-end residential projects from concept through to on-site coordination.

You will present ideas to clients, coordinate with FF&E, 3D, architecture and engineering teams, and ensure projects meet time, budget and brand standards across Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area.

Qualificações

• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or similar.
• 10+ years in interior design, with strong senior-level experience in luxury hotel and high-end residential projects
• A portfolio that shows great spatial planning, interior architecture and concept development, ideally including completed luxury hotel projects.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (BIM/Revit a plus).
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong building codes, statutory submissions and contract documentation, with experience coordinating MEP, structural and lighting consultants.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong advantage given our regional and international client base.
• Confidence presenting to clients and leading senior-level design discussions.
• Commercial awareness, you can balance creative ambition with budget, programme and brand needs.
• A self-directed, organized working style across international projects and time zones.
• A genuine love for hospitality and residential design, and a collaborative, detail-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee tender and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong building codes, statutory requirements and brand standards.
• Attend client and site meetings across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, resolving design queries as projects come to life.
• Contribute to pitches, proposals and new business opportunities across the region.
• Collaborate with CCD studios across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

About the role

As Director of Interior Design in Hong Kong, you'll set the design direction for luxury hotel and high-end residential projects for leading international brands and private clients. You'll take ideas from early concept and space planning all the way through documentation and on-site coordination, working hand in hand with our FF&E and 3D specialists, architects, engineers and local consultants.

You'll be the senior design voice in the room, leading client presentations and workshops, protecting the design intent through construction, and making sure every project lands on time, on budget and on brand.
