Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an Operational Client Relationship Manager to join the Markets Client and Sales Solutions team in Asia. You will own the service delivery relationship for Markets clients, focusing on Platinum clients, and ensure excellence from trading through settlement and reconciliations.

A strong grasp of post-trade workflows and trade lifecycle is essential to deliver seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Operations Client Relationship Management / Client Services.
• Markets Operations experience and related processes.
• People Management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Process analysis and market advocacy responsibilities.
• Project management skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class operational relationship management to Markets client base.
• Profile clients using interactions and show workflows, growth areas, platforms and products.
• Support Global Markets sales teams to pitch new products and cross-sell.
• Represent SCB at industry groups and forums with tangible outputs.
• Oversee GCNA region staff, including development, coaching and reviews.
• Articulate Markets Operations strategies to internal/external stakeholders.
• Grow Markets awareness by attending industry forums and sharing insights.
• Provide measures and metrics from client interactions for analysis.
• Collaborate to solve repeat client issues and deliver best-in-class service.
• Conduct regular service reviews and follow-ups for improvements.
• Act as senior escalation contact for post-trade issues and market access.
• Ensure junior team connections to relevant teams and refreshed contacts.
• Maintain up-to-date client profiles for quick sharing with stakeholders.
• Work with Global Client Analytics to drive insights by segment/region.
