Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in Hong Kong invites a seasoned Sales & Advice Journey Owner, Director, Digital Distribution to drive the delivery of innovative products to Distribution users across Asia. The role reports to the Head of Distribution Excellence, Asia and is based in the Asia Regional Office in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in commerce or finance
• 10+ years of experience in insurance, banking, financial services or digital product management
• Experience managing digital products, customer journeys or distribution transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of sales, advisory or customer-facing digital journeys
• Experience working with Technology, Operations, Data & Analytics and business stakeholders
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, digital platforms and performance analytics preferred
• Strong client focus mindset and ability to partner with leadership to create win-win outcomes

Responsibilities

• Maintain a two year plan for electronic Financial Needs Analysis and Point of Sale. Keep the journey design, capability roadmaps, measures and delivery priorities current. Recommend changes based on market needs, Client and Advisor feedback and performance results.
• Maintain a clear set of measures for the Sales Advisory journey. Review Client, Advisor, operational, technology, quality and risk information to identify where the journey is not performing as expected. Lead regular journey health reviews, agree actions with the responsible teams and track progress.
• Manage the agreed product roadmaps and prioritised work for electronic Financial Needs Analysis and Point of Sale. Turn journey needs into clear business requirements and work with delivery teams & markets through design, testing, release readiness, market implementation and adoption.
• Work with regional and market Distribution, Product, Operations, Technology, Data and Analytics, Client Experience, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver the agreed journey plan. Resolve issues within the role’s mandate, support markets to adopt common capabilities and provide clear updates and recommendations to management.
