Job summary

OSL is seeking a Market Surveillance Officer in Hong Kong to build and enhance its end-to-end surveillance framework for digital asset trading. The role leads design, governance, and operations of market conduct controls across multiple venues and asset classes, with a focus on crypto markets and regulatory engagement.

The candidate will oversee operations, calibrate surveillance scenarios, manage escalations and regulatory reporting, and partner with Legal to ensure control room integrity.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in trade surveillance, compliance, or control room within regulated markets.
• Exposure to digital assets, crypto, or web3 ecosystems preferred.
• Experience designing and operating surveillance controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the market conduct control framework for digital asset markets.
• Oversee end-to-end trade surveillance operations across venues, with alert governance and investigations.
• Engage regulators on control design, effectiveness, and governance.
• Drive strategic roadmap for surveillance and control room tech with strong data governance.
