Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a testing professional to support derivatives trading operations. The role focuses on system and workflow testing, documentation, and collaboration with IT and business teams in Hong Kong.

The candidate will analyze requirements, prepare test plans, execute cycles under tight timelines, and help ensure end-to-end readiness across markets and products. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this contract position.

Qualifications

• > University degree, preferably in Finance, Statistics, Information Technology or related discipline; fresh graduates welcome.
• > Sound knowledge of the derivatives products, market practices and the trading platform is preferred
• > Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and documentation skills in English and Chinese

Responsibilities

• Support new business initiatives, new products, system and infrastructure enhancements, market microstructure improvements and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Analyze technical and operational system requirements and prepare testing documentation, including test plans, test conditions and test cases for system acceptance.
• Execute testing cycles under tight timelines, verify test results and document outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Participate in issue investigation, defect tracking and resolution follow-up for issues identified during testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional testing teams to validate end-to-end system, operational and technical readiness.
• Assist in identifying, investigating and resolving testing conflicts, gaps or dependencies across systems and workstreams.
