Job summary

TSS seeks an experienced Middle Office Operations professional on a contract basis to support a multi-year strategic project. The role focuses on end-to-end trade lifecycle management for ETD/OTC derivatives, with additional duties across equities, fixed income and FX.

Candidate should have 6–10 years in Middle Office or Investment Operations, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and familiarity with reconciliation and corporate actions.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Middle Office, Investment Operations, or Trade Support within a buy-side environment (e.g., Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, Pension Fund)
• Proven experience with derivatives trade support (ETD and OTC) is essential
• Strong practical knowledge of the full trade lifecycle and post-trade operations across multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, FX)
• Experience with reconciliations (cash, position, and transactions), corporate actions, and cash management
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• A self-starter who can deliver results with minimal oversight and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; experience with SQL, VBA, or Python is a plus
• Experience with trading and reconciliation platforms is highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle for a variety of asset classes, with a primary focus on trade support, including ETD/OTC derivatives
• Oversee daily trade capture, affirmation, allocation, and settlement processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Perform daily cash, position, and transaction reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks or discrepancies
• Support corporate actions processing, lifecycle events, and other operational processes as needed
• Provide dedicated support for derivatives instruments (ETD and OTC), including futures, options, swaps, and other instruments
• Support operations for other asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and FX
• Manage collateral and margin activities related to derivative trades
• Act as a key operational point of contact between Front Office, Technology, Finance, Risk, and counterparties
• Investigate and resolve operational queries and exceptions effectively, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactively identify operational risks, process gaps, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
