Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is sourcing a senior investment professional in Hong Kong to lead investment strategies, risk controls, and regulatory reporting for a large asset management/insurance operation. The role emphasizes strategic oversight and hands-on management of projects within a Mainland-backed insurer's regional mandate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in large financial institutions (asset management or insurance).
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team spirit; quick learner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent Chinese report writing skills.
• Fluent in written Chinese and English; strong spoken Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the fund's investment strategies, risk management framework, and operational plans.
• Establish and continuously refine operational and management standards, ensuring robust systems, processes, and guidelines across the organization.
• Oversee and monitor investment projects, promptly addressing and resolving any unforeseen issues.
• Provide strategic support for investment activities and drive ongoing development of the investment system platform.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to domestic and international authorities regarding investment operations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
