Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in relevant field is required.
• 2+ years of working experience in database & application design.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle SQL Developer, OEM, GIT, Data Warehouse methodologies, Partitioning is an advantage
• Exposure in Linux and UNIX Shell scripts is preferable
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Our client is a reputed and sizable logistics solution firm with branches across the globe. They are now looking for potential incumbents to join their team and work together for meaningful global projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in database design to support business applications with the objective to ensure system scalability, security, performance and reliability
• Ensure production database performance in accordance to relevant SLA, including but not limited to performance monitoring, proactive database sizing projection and application tuning
• Setup and maintain development database environment
• Prepare database coding standards, best practices and guidelines for development teams
• Provide support to development teams on schema setup, PL/SQL and data loading

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Studies / Information Technology or related disciplines
• 2+ years relevant working experience in database & application design, database performance tuning
• Good knowledge in SQL & PL/SQL with knowledge in Oracle DBA is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle SQL Developer, OEM, GIT, Data Warehouse methodologies, Partitioning is an advantage
• Exposure in Linux and UNIX Shell scripts is preferable
