Job summary

Jobtailor in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end data analytics projects, from inception to deployment, with a focus on delivering scalable data platform capabilities.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, manage risks, and drive governance, security, and data quality across cloud environments leveraging open-source tools and modern SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in data analytics, IT development or project management.
• Strong technical capabilities and proven team-management and project-delivery experience.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Solid background in software development and data technologies (SOA, data modeling, data visualization).
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and end-to-end tech stacks.
• Experience with data security, data lineage, and data management tools (LDAP, OAuth, Keycloak, OpenMetadata).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects, from inception to deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data platform capabilities and prioritize requirements.
• Manage data initiatives by tracking progress and risks against scope, schedule, and cost.
• Promote compliant and high-quality data reuse across the data lifecycle with governance features.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support implementation and delivery on the data platform.
• Drive implementation with cloud and open-source capabilities for data governance.
