Job summary

Zung Fu Company Limited is seeking a senior data & automation leader to guide requirement gathering, validation and delivery of enterprise-grade intelligent automation projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, ensure scalable, maintainable solutions, and drive adoption of Gen AI-enabled data platforms.

The role focuses on advancing data infrastructure, governance, and integration across Azure-based environments.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 6+ years of data-related projects with 2+ years in management.
• Experience in functional analysis, process documentation, and automation.
• Experience of Azure Databricks and Power BI is a must.
• Strong data modelling, data warehousing, DB design, and ETL practices.
• Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, and Python.
• Experience with Azure cloud data platforms and governance.
• Gen AI knowledge is a plus; Microsoft Foundry experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership, with stakeholder management.

Job description

Perform requirement gathering and validation with different user teams and obtain business endorsement.

Lead small or large intelligent automation projects focused on assessing automation opportunities and delivering automation implementation.

Assess automation opportunities from a functional and technical perspective and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that are efficient and scalable, and maintainable.

Demonstrate a continual desire to implement “strategic” or “optimal” solutions and where possible, avoid workarounds or short-term tactical solutions.

Be the data analytics focal point and manage internal stakeholders, and external vendors and partners on strategic data related projects.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that effective communication and escalation mechanisms are in place for the project implementation.

Advance data infrastructure, technologies and tools, and partner with technological vendors to develop and ensure the readiness of our tech stack and enablers, such as Gen AI, to keep up with ever-evolving demands. Orchestrate use cases and drive adoption.

Process and rationalize structured data and semi/unstructured data and ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into “single system” design data platform to fulfill the business and technical requirements.

Identify the gaps between business requirement and data architecture and propose solutions to resolve or shorten the gap.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data and automation/AI technologies.

Job Requirements

Degree holder in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.

6+ years of data-related projects and intelligent automation experience with 2 years of management experience.

Experience in functional analysis and requirements and process documentation, and process standardization and automation.

Experience of Azure Databricks and Power BI is a must.

Strong experience and knowledge in data modelling, data warehousing, database design and data management best practices, and ETL process.

Sound knowledge in SQL, NoSQL, and Python programming languages.

Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, data integration and governance framework with Azure cloud technology is highly desirable.

Experience with Gen AI technologies and Microsoft Foundry will be a plus.

Good communication, presentation and leadership skills and stakeholder management capabilities

Good command of both written and spoken English.
