Job summary

Coins is seeking a seasoned Data Leader to drive analytics across the business. You will own data-driven strategy, oversee data warehouse planning, and align BI initiatives with risk, compliance, and revenue goals.

You will lead the BI and Data Engineering teams, coordinate cross-functional projects, and build standardized data governance and reporting capabilities to enable scalable growth across APAC and international markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis and data management within cross-border payment or fintech industries.
• Solid understanding of core cross-border business logic including cross-border collection & payment, clearing & settlement, overseas compliance and cross-border risk control.
• Prior experience in payment industry data team management is highly preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis tools and BI visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analysis or related majors is preferred.

• Lead business data-driven strategy: analyze full cross-border payment lifecycle, establish KPI frameworks, and deliver growth and risk analyses for management decisions.
• Oversee data platform planning and construction: manage data warehouse, data middle platform, governance, and cross-functional coordination to eliminate silos.
• Direct BI and Data Engineering teams: standardize workflows, decompose objectives, and drive data-driven projects.
• Collaborate with business, risk, finance and product teams to monitor data, identify growth opportunities, and improve operational efficiency through insights.

Responsibilities

• Business Data-Driven Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of the full business lifecycle of cross-border payment scenarios, including transaction processing, clearing, foreign exchange settlement, risk control, revenue generation and capital flow. Establish standardized data analysis frameworks and KPI indicator systems. Deliver in-depth business reviews, growth optimization strategies and risk assessment analyses to support core management decision-making
• Data Platform Planning & Construction: Lead the overall planning and implementation of data warehouse, data middle platform and BI visualization platforms. Coordinate cross-functional business and technical resources, oversee full-cycle data governance, including unified data caliber, standardized data layering and hierarchical permission system construction. Eliminate data silos and build a reusable, business-oriented data system
• Team Leadership & Management: Take full charge of the management of the BI team and Data Engineering team. Establish standardized team workflows and collaboration mechanisms, decompose business objectives, and reasonably allocate tasks covering data analysis, BI visualization development, data engineering development and platform operation & maintenance. Empower team capability improvement, coordinate cross-team collaboration, drive the data team to deliver high-value business outcomes, and ensure the successful delivery of data demands and platform construction projects
• Digital Business Empowerment: Collaborate closely with business, risk control, operation, finance and product teams to undertake core data requirements. Build standardized mechanisms for daily data monitoring, early warning and regular business review. Identify business growth opportunities and operational pain points, and drive business efficiency improvement and revenue growth through data insights

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis and data management within cross-border payment or fintech industries. Solid understanding of core cross-border business logic including cross-border collection & payment, clearing & settlement, overseas compliance and cross-border risk control. Prior experience in payment industry data team management is highly preferred
• Possess strong commercial data thinking and business acumen. Capable of building data analysis frameworks from a business perspective, dissecting core business challenges independently, and delivering actionable special analysis and business optimization solutions
• Proficient in the architectural logic of data platforms, data warehouses and data middle platforms, with comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end data governance procedures. Capable of independently leading platform planning and implementation. No hands-on coding development required; competent in managing and coordinating technical teams to complete project delivery
• Minimum 2 years of data team management experience, with proven track record of leading BI and Data Engineering teams. Skilled in objective decomposition, process optimization, team cultivation and cross-departmental collaboration, with strong stress resistance and outstanding business insight
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis tools and BI visualization tools. Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analysis or related majors is preferred
