Job summary

Recruit Squad Limited is seeking a core Data Governance specialist to drive organisation-wide data governance initiatives and support unstructured data management.

You will design and refine the Data Governance Framework, standards, and controls, collaborate with IT and business teams, and help ensure data privacy, security, and AI readiness.

The role requires 3+ years in data governance, strong technical skills in SQL and Python, and excellent communication in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data governance or data management.
• Experience with metadata management, tagging, privacy and security.
• Hands-on with governance tools (catalog, lineage, quality).

Responsibilities

• Support the organisation-wide Data Governance Framework implementation and refinement.
• Assist design and optimisation of governance tools, workflows, and controls.
• Monitor governance effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams across international finance contexts.
