Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead in Hong Kong to drive data platforms across healthcare projects. You will collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to define scope and ensure timely delivery, while guiding regional data initiatives and architecture standards.

The role requires strong Azure expertise (ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks) and a track record in leading large-scale data initiatives with solid stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer-related field.
• 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years in data engineering leadership.
• Hands-on with Azure data stack and Databricks.
• Experience leading large-scale data platform initiatives and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Health business leaders, product owners, regional teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define delivery timelines.
• Partner with regional teams to align data initiatives across markets.
• Estimate effort and translate requirements into epics and roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines, data lakehouses, and enterprise data warehouses.
• Provide technical leadership for Azure Databricks, Spark, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Build data ingestion, orchestration, transformation, and data quality frameworks.
• Drive data governance, standards, and security/compliance.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and cost-optimization.
