Job summary

WSP in Asia is seeking a qualified professional in Hong Kong to oversee building works installations and ensure quality and compliance on site. The role involves technical submissions, site supervision and close coordination with contractors and consultants to meet project timelines.

The incumbent should hold a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building and have at least 8 years of site experience, including Data Centre projects, with strong communication skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building from a recognized insti­tution.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant site experience, including Data Centre projects.
• Experience in CLP 132kV substation inspection work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical submissions and method statements for building works installation.
• Ensure quality control for site installations and compliance with standards.
• Supervise contractors’ work to ensure adherence to contractual and statutory requirements.
• Conduct on-site inspections and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
• Prepare quality reports and recommend improvement measures.
• Liaise with contractors to execute rectification works promptly.
• Coordinate with project consultants and contractors on all matters related to builders’ work installation and site performance.
