Job summary

China Comservice (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for data center projects, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and emergency systems. You will prepare drawings, load calculations, and schedules using CAD/BIM tools while ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of HK experience in data center design, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Amtech, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of electrical design experience in Hong Kong, preferably with an E&M contractor or main contractor.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong electricity ordinances, Code of Practice, and relevant standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Amtech, and Microsoft Office.
• Data center electrical design experience is a strong advantage.
• Candidates with both site and design experience are preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for Data Center projects, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and emergency systems.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, load calculations, and equipment schedules using CAD/BIM tools.
• Conduct site supervision, ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Support procurement, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Design and review electrical layouts for data centers, including UPS, generator, PDU, and monitoring systems.
