Job summary

Amazon Data Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking CDS Engineers to deliver and support data center building automation systems, such as BMS and EPMS. You will deploy and service building automation, oversee new builds, upgrades, and colocated data centers, and partner with multiple AWS teams for successful deployments.

The role requires a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, strong project management, and experience with data center infrastructure and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
• Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of PFHO.
• Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
• Service and support provided to partner teams, providing diagnosis and resolution of LOV, LOR, LSE, CSE, and other operations impacting events.
• Delivery of further initiatives to improve the efficiency of our data centers or our operations procedures.
