Job summary

OCBC Group in Hong Kong seeks a data analyst to transform business and credit data into actionable insights and to build KPI dashboards that drive strategic decisions across the bank. You will automate reporting, deliver MI, and collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring timely and accurate analyses for senior management.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in financial services, strong programming skills in SQL/Python/SAS, and experience with Power BI.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial/banking industries.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python and SAS; experience building dashboards.
• Strong analytical, data engineering and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate business and credit related data to perform business analysis and prepare for insightful decision.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators using data-driven approach to measure and drive initiatives.
• Be a subject matter expert in data to support demands from business and regulatory divisions.
• Streamline and automate internal processes for data generation and analytics.
• Develop advanced analytics, with AI and machine learning, to streamline processes and improve sales momentum.
• Provide regular reports and progress updates to management on a timely basis.
