Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Data Analyst to join a Hedge Fund team. The role focuses on AI-driven initiatives, data analytics, process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of data analysis experience, strong Python skills, solid finance knowledge and the ability to collaborate with operations, investor relations and fund administrators.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Data Analyst or Business Analyst experience.
• Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
• Python is a must.
• FS experience is highly preferred but not a must.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI-driven initiatives, including design, development and implementation of AI agents to improve operational efficiency across the organization.
• Drive data analytics, process improvement, and automation projects to enhance system capabilities and streamline workflows.
• Manage daily middle- and back-office operations, including trade processing and matching, reconciliations, settlement activities, stock loan monitoring, liquidity and margin management, and NAV validation.
• Provide support for operations and investor relations activities, including performance and risk analysis, preparation of reports, and coordination with fund administrators, prime brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
