Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Data & AI Specialist to drive data and AI initiatives across corporate banking. You will join our Digital Transformation Team to design scalable ontologies and semantic models, enabling AI-ready data foundations for enterprise‑wide applications.

You will collaborate with business units to translate data needs, apply NLP/LLMs for automation, and deliver actionable insights that improve decision making and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in data science, statistics, CS or mathematics.
• 3+ years in data or AI roles, banking preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs and unstructured data analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across business units to translate data needs into analytical solutions.
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends to drive innovation.
• Documentation & Reporting: Document methodologies and results for governance and present findings clearly.
• Generative AI/LLM: Use generative AI models to automate processes and increase efficiency.
• Research and Design ontologies, taxonomies and semantic models across products, operations and customers.
