Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) seeks a Technical Specialist - Cybersecurity to design, implement and maintain robust security solutions across ESF infrastructure in Hong Kong. You will act as the primary technical contact for MSSP SOC, PAM, XDR and SAT platforms, while supporting deployments and school-site operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in corporate cybersecurity, knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization and SOC processes, and excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field with 2-4 years hands-on security experience.
• Experience with SOC operations, phishing analysis and vulnerability concepts is preferred.
• Proj mgmt and ticketing tools exposure is a plus; strong English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions across the infrastructure.
• Serve as primary technical/operational contact for MSSP SOC, PAM, XDR and SAT platforms.
• Support deployments, conduct on-site visits to schools, and collaborate with multiple IT contacts.
• Administer core security platforms and monitor escalated security tickets with the SOC.
• Contribute to threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and investigations.
