Job summary

AIA is seeking a Platform BAU Business Enablement Lead to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, translating objectives into scalable, value-driven technology solutions.

You will support the tech roadmap, SDLC processes (Agile/Waterfall), incident management, and cross-functional delivery with PMs, BAs and engineers to drive outcomes that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency across Asia.

Roles and Responsibilities

Platform BAU Business Enablement (80%)

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to maximize business value through technology investments. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and application demand. Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions. Evaluate technology options, assess trade-offs, and recommend solutions that balance cost, risk, speed, and long-term value. Support portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and roadmap development. Identify opportunities to leverage technology innovation to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Application Management Support (20%)

Work as part of the platform team supporting the technical ownership of customer platform applications, ensuring reliable service delivery and alignment with business objectives. Support the tech roadmap, application lifecycle, and service delivery targets for assigned applications. Partner with business stakeholders to manage functional demand, prioritization, and delivery planning. Ensure effective collaboration between business, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field/experience 8 years+ of progressive experience in Web/Mobile Application Development, Software Development Teams Management Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders

Digital Delivery & SDLC (Agile/Waterfall)

• Proven experience in leading end-to-end delivery across Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring quality, timeliness, and governance standards.

Application Incident Management, Maintenance and Monitoring

Understanding to set up, leverage and visualize operational metrics and manage incidents for applications in production with tools such as ELK, Dynatrace, Confluence and JIRA.

Project Management

Strong capability in leading digital initiatives, establishing delivery plans, managing project governance, mitigating risks and issues, and driving cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
