Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited is seeking a Manager, Custody Operations (Payment Processing) in the Asset Custody Department. The role focuses on monitoring payment and time deposit instructions, liaising with Treasury and Operations, and ensuring accurate processing through in-house systems.

The candidate should have 4 years' experience in payment processing, familiarity with CHATS, T/T, NRA payments, and good Cantonese/English communication. Putonghua is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in payment and time deposit processing.
• Familiar with CHATS, T/T and NRA payment processing.
• Knowledge of SWIFT Category 1 and Category 2 messages is preferred.
• Good communication skills in Cantonese and English; Putonghua is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor corporate and institutional client payment and time deposit instructions from various channels
• Communicate with Treasury and Operations on funding arrangements of payment requests from clients
• Check and authorize payment and time deposit instructions and transactions through in-house systems
• Check and authorize time deposit instructions to internal and external parties for execution as per requests from clients
• Respond to enquiries from clients, front office, sales team and processing agents
• Provide guidance and training about payment processing to subordinates and clients
• Design and review various control reports and external reports
• Participate in system UAT, including test case and plan preparation
• Regular review and update training material, procedure and manual
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by team head
