Job summary

Mox Bank in Hong Kong invites an Associate Product Owner to lead credit risk initiatives within Retail Lending. You will translate risk requirements into decisioning logic, collaborate with Risk, Product and Engineering teams, and help shape the credit risk strategy.

You will monitor risk metrics, develop policies, and drive improvements using data analytics, SQL and Python, while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Coding experience required; SQL and Python preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in retail credit risk product.
• Familiar with credit bureau and credit decision systems; FICO Decision Modeller is a plus.
• Understanding of credit risk methodologies, with demonstrated modelling adoption.
• Proficiency in assessing inherent credit risk in unsecured lending and credit card portfolios.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Absorb requirements from risk teams and implement decision logics in credit decisioning flow.
• Develop and monitor credit risk policies in credit decision engine.
• Drive the strategic direction of the Credit Risk Squad to optimize business outcomes through risk-informed decision-making with Product stakeholders.
• Conduct ongoing research on retail lending and credit risk, identify trends and inform relevant teams about developments and usage scenarios.
• Gather, track and manage user comments, bank needs, concept testing, analytics tools.
• Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Escalate credit risk issues timely and ensure mitigations are devised and implemented with stakeholders.
• Plan the product features backlog with Risk and Lending squads to ensure prepared tasks are available.
• Design, monitor and report on product and risk KPIs, sharing results and insights.
• Automate, enhance and support ongoing credit risk analytics and MI reporting.
