Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a Retail Credit Risk professional to support the implementation and monitoring of credit quality across the retail portfolio. You will develop risk strategies, ensure compliance with credit policies, and assist frontline teams in executing credit processes.

The role emphasizes accurate analysis, timely recommendations, and robust documentation. The ideal candidate has a university degree in a relevant field, 1+ year in credit/financial analysis, and fluency

Qualifications

• University degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related discipline.
• 1 year or more experience in credit/financial analysis.
• Good knowledge of credit industry and sound credit judgment.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Putonghua) both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of retail credit risk management and credit quality.
• Assist monitoring changes in quality of retail credit assets and decide on risk mitigation measures.
• Develop and implement credit strategies to facilitate the credit process workflow (approval & compliance).
• Support frontline to carry out credit business per Bank policies and guidelines.
• Provide recommendations and approve credit applications within authority.
• Develop credit-related projects, products and programs.
• Improve risk management knowledge through training and consultancy within the department.
• Implement application scorecards in Decision Engine.
• Ensure documentation and Decision Engine controls are in place.
