Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Review draft of bilateral/syndicated loan documentation, and ensure all terms, conditions and security arrangements are in proper order.
• Ensure requisite loan documents and necessary condition precedent are duly completed to meet the Bank’s standards.
• Handle documentation for treasury & security products, including derivatives transactions, IRS, currency swap, CB, FRN, Notes and more.
• Prepare and review limit dispatch procedures.
• Monitor and follow up on documentation deficiencies and outstanding loan documents.
• Liaise with business teams, credit approvers, lawyers and/or agents on the loan documentation process.
• Perform final validation on legal, security and collateral documents.
• Follow up requests from HKMA and auditors.
• Prepare MIS reports.
• Conduct regular reviews of the operation process, update the process manual and assist in ad‑hoc projects (e.g. AI implementation).

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance and law.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in loan/credit administration/documentation and knowledge of bilateral loans, syndicated loans and securities operations gained from major PRC and international banks.
• Good knowledge and solid experience in handling documentation for securities, derivatives products and swaps (e.g. ISDA, GMRA, etc.).
• Experience in negotiating queries from HKMA, auditors and credit approvers is an advantage.
• Proactive, with strong interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in PC applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
