Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to support the DOJ’s prosecution case management systems. The role is a 3-month contract based in Central and Sheung Wan, with responsibilities spanning system analysis, development, testing, documentation and user training.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java-based applications, web systems, and government project environments, and is prepared for on-site duties at multiple Hong Kong locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Government legal case workflow systems related to prosecution cases would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and support of web-based and Java application systems.
• Render on-site support services at user offices across Hong Kong.
• Willingness to perform duties related to project implementation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform system analysis and design.

• Conduct program unit tests, system tests, load tests and security tests as required.
• Produce and maintain documentation.
• Assist user to conduct user acceptance testing.
• Conduct user training.
• Provide maintenance and ongoing support of prosecution case management systems.

Project Nature (T26) IT system projects feasibility study, development, implementation, maintenance and support.

Duties

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ;

• Perform system analysis and design;
• Develop programs;
• Conduct program unit test, system test, load test and other tests (e.g. security) as required;
• Produce and maintain documentation;
• Assist user to conduct user acceptance test;
• Conduct user training;
• Provide maintenance and on-going support of prosecution case management systems; and
• Perform any other duties (e.g. on-call support duty during non-office hours, weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department.

Requirements

• Experiences and/or knowledge in Government legal case workflow systems related to prosecution cases would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and support of web-based and Java application system.
• Any other duties which may be assigned for implementation of the project.
• It is required to render on-site support services at user offices scattered at various locations of Hong Kong.

Technical Skills

• At least 6 years' experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI);
• At least 6 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
• At least 6 years' experience in Oracle Application Server Admin. and Tuning (OAT);
• At least 6 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM).

Non-technical Skills

• At least 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• At least 6 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS).

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
