Job summary

HERMES ASIA PACIFIC LIMITED seeks an experienced expense operations leader to manage Concur projects and ensure compliant, streamlined expense reporting across the organization.

The role requires strong SAP Concur expertise, project management skills, and the ability to train and guide teams through changes in travel and expense workflows. Cantonese and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or expense management.
• Strong SAP Concur experience and project leadership preference.
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expense operations and Concur expense administration.
• Lead end-to-end Concur project with timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Review expense policies and redesign workflows to maximize automation and compliance.
• Define testing strategies, conduct UAT, and ensure data flow between Concur and SAP.
• Develop training materials and drive change management for new workflows.

Details of the job

Responsibilities

• Expense Operations & Accounting
• Oversee the day-to-day administration of Concur Expense and local expenses claims
• Perform monthly T&E accruals and variance analyses related to corporate travel and entertainment expenses
• Ensure all expense reports comply with company policy

Concur Project Leadership

• Project Management: Lead the end-to-end Concur project, establishing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Process Optimization: Review current expense policies, workflows, and approval hierarchies; redesign them in Concur to maximize automation, compliance, and user experience.
• Testing & Validation: Define testing strategies, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolve configuration defects, and ensure seamless data flow between Concur and SAP.
• Change Management & Training: Develop training materials, host workshops, and act as the primary change agent for employees and managers transitioning to new Concur workflows.
• Perform others ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in SAP Concur, experience in managing the Concur project is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
• Fluency in both English and Cantonese is required
