Job summary

China Road and Bridge Corporation seeks a Public Relations Manager to plan and deliver PR and promotional activities to strengthen the organization’s public image and awareness of its work and services.

The successful candidate will provide PR and communications services to government departments, public bodies, or other organisations as assigned. The role is based in Yuen Long District and Wan Chai, HK, with potential irregular hours and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Admin, Public Relations or Journalism.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua advantageous.
• At least 7 years' post-degree experience in corporate communications or PR.
• Experience with external agencies for events and PR.
• Content management and drafting newsletters/corporate stories.
• Experience with digital media and online content management is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe tools; graphic design/video editing a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage PR and promotional activities to enhance image and raise awareness.
• Lead PR teams and collaborate with consultants and vendors.
• Produce promotional materials (leaflets, videos, animations) for websites and social media; organise activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for event management and corporate communications.
• Identify promotional ideas and channels to publicise the organisation.
• Assist in content planning, drafting and editing eNews and webpages.
