Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd (HKEX) is seeking an IT Specialist - Officer for Post-trade Application on a 12-month contract. You will develop software, perform testing and document mission-critical systems used in clearing and settlement.

You will work with Java, microservices and container-based applications, using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git and Docker in a Hong Kong environment. A bachelor's degree in CS and 2+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years' Java, Microservices and container app development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, Linux and Windows.
• Familiar with DevOps lifecycles and tools (Jenkins, Jira, Git, JUnit, Docker).

Responsibilities

• Develop software as per program specifications.
• Perform unit tests and system tests.
• Execute performance testing and tuning work.
• Handle technical enquiries, perform investigation and support testing by external and internal parties.
• Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor.
