Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Field Officer I to supervise soft landscape and tree preservation works at the Kwu Tung North construction site under the Project Manager. The role involves checking workmanship, monitoring materials, and maintaining detailed site records.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree or higher in a related discipline, with arborist certification preferred, and HKDSEE/HKCEE Level 2 or above in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree or diploma or higher in an appropriate discipline (e.g., horticulture management, natural science, botany, biology).
• Certification from a professional body (e.g., Arborist certs) is preferred.
• Level 2 or above in HKDSEE/HKCEE English and Chinese is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise soft landscape works and establishment works under the Project Manager.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to Client’s Requirements and project specs.
• Check setting out of landscape and tree works on site.
• Maintain records including monthly reports on preserved trees and related activities.
• Attend site inspections, progress meetings, and audits as required.
• Assist with site inspections, data collection, and reporting to project team.
• Advise on rectification of defects and non-conformities.
• Witness tests and record results in site records.
