Job summary

Cross Industry Climate Group is seeking a senior construction safety professional in Hong Kong to lead safety initiatives and guidance for the industry. The role focuses on developing, promoting and reviewing safety best practices, alerts, and technical references.

You will provide expert advice, collaborate with stakeholders, and help advance digital safety solutions while communicating effectively in English and Chinese. A renewable two-year contract awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in construction safety, engineering, construction management or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in construction, with track record in safety initiatives.
• Registration as a Safety Officer (RSO) is required.
• RSA qualification would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with generative AI applications and data analytics in safety management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation and promotion of construction safety initiatives, programmes and best practices for the industry.
• Develop, review and disseminate safety alerts, guidelines, and resources for stakeholders.
• Provide professional advice and technical support on construction safety matters and conduct safety studies and data analysis.
• Support development of safety-related digital platforms and technology applications.
• Liaise with government departments, professional bodies, contractors and other stakeholders; organise industry events.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
