Job summary

Our Right Fit in Hong Kong seeks a qualified legal professional to strengthen privacy, anti-bribery, and AML programmes. You will monitor risks, liaise with authorities, and train internal teams in a fast-paced corporate setting.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience with data protection, HK PDPO/GDPR knowledge, and strong communication skills across English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Qualified legal professional with 3+ years’ experience, focus on data protection.
• Knowledge of HK PDPO and GDPR; familiarity with Chinese privacy laws is a plus.
• Experience developing or enhancing compliance programmes and training.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, agile corporate environment.
• Strong communication and people skills; proactive and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound, pragmatic advice and strengthen compliance programmes with focus on data protection, anti-bribery, anti-trust, sanctions, and AML.
• Monitor, assess, and manage compliance risks including emerging issues and remediation actions.
• Liaise with judicial, regulatory or law enforcement authorities as needed.
• Design and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders.
• Collect, analyse and report compliance data.

Job description

• Monitor, assess and manage compliance risks, including identifying emerging issues, supporting remediation actions and escalating material matters where appropriate
• Liaise with judicial, regulatory or law enforcement authorities as needed
• Design and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
